Finding yourself through Service Studies show that when people donate or give to a charity, the mesolimbic system, the portion of the brain responsible for feelings of reward are triggered. The brain also releases feel-good chemicals and spurs you to perform more kind acts — something psychologists call “helper’s high.” The Universe does not revolve around one person you are designed to give and receive love through service, like Jesus Christ. The more you give of yourself the more wisdom, love and divine revelation you receive back . All relationships are reciprocal. When we learn to focus on love we begin to see our unique identity created in love and it’s purpose for our lives and how it’s useful to others. When you search for your Identity outside of love, God’s love. It leads to much confusion. As most parents know when they are focused on helping their children and their children are happy you as a parent are happy.
